Experience Apollo 11 in Virtual Reality

Experience Apollo 11 in Virtual Reality In-Person

July 17 through July 23. Celebrate the anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission by experiencing it yourself in Virtual Reality!  The Apollo Experience is a documentary viewed in a 3D Virtual Reality format using the Oculus Rift. The entire Apollo mission is about 45 minutes long although it can be shortened. This program is intended for adults and teens.  Be aware that Virtual Reality (VR) may trigger vertigo or motion sickness, especially to those that are susceptible. The Oculus Rift is a discontinued line of virtual reality headsets, but the older technology still provides an immersive, crisp, virtual reality experience. Appointments are recommended but walk ins are welcome. Please call the library starting July 3, 2025 at 386-322-5152 if you'd like to schedule an appointment.
